Hi all,

My name is Susan Burk. I am the one in the leopard shirt. I like cats and have two of my own. I also like to travel with my sister Sandra Ragan (next to me in this picture) who is my fraternal twin. The picture shows us at Liverpool, England on a Beatles tour in 2015. You can see we visited the Cavern Club where the Beatles played before they got world famous. I like the Beatles, but my favorite group is Chicago. I also like listening to most styles of music, including Christian rock, secular rock, pop , a little jazz, and country. However, I don’t like the new music very much. I play a little guitar and bass. I like going to music concerts and the theater. I love to read about history, music, and politics. When my sister and I travel, we like to go to museums. I like to watch most sports with tennis being my favorite.  I spend time praying for this nation and our leaders as well as going to Christian conferences and prayer meetings. I have a Bachelor Degree in English from Eastern Illinois University and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Triton College. I retired from AT&T in 2012 due to my office closing.
