A Tale of Two Protests

I was at the Capitol in Washington D.C. on January 6th 2021.This post will give you my and other’s first hand accounts of what really happened that day to dispel the lies and misinformation of the main stream media.

My sister Sandra and I got there around 9:15 am. The side of the building facing the mall with the reflecting pool was vacant at the barricades. We were supposed to meet on the other side that faced the Supreme Court to encourage our elected leaders to object to the disputed Electoral votes from the presidential election as they walked by us. We walked around past where they were setting up a stage for people to speak at later after seeing the President. Most Trump supporters where at the Ellipse near the Whitehouse to listen to his speech.

We cheered on the few Congressmen we saw. It was a joyful and peaceful atmosphere. We sang patriotic songs and waived our Trump banners. We clapped when we heard the first objection was made and were excited because we thought the President would come to the Capitol to speak to us also.

Sandra and I stood right next to the barricades most of the time. From 9:30 am to about 3pm, the small crowd became bigger and bigger, but I felt totally safe. No one was angry. No one was pushing us from behind, but several times this man came over to those of us who were pressed against the barricades and began shaking them. I think he wanted us to do the same. Looking back, maybe he wanted us to knock them over. We wouldn’t bite. In fact, I remember one lady down from me getting a little angry and asking him to stop. The President’s speech was being broadcasted, but it was hard to hear it above the crowd noise.

Until around 2:30 pm, there were very few police there, and they were far from the crowd. Then more came and all stood much closer to us. Then still more came with riot shields. I thought that was strange because the crowd so far had not been unruly or pushing at the barriers. Soon after people started pushing from several rows behind us. We heard someone say “That’s Antifa.” We had heard earlier that Antifa would infiltrate our rally disguised in Trump gear. Sandra and I safely moved a few feet away. Then the pushing became much stronger, the police were shoved back, and a barricade came down.

The police tried to plug the breach with another barricade. But suddenly all of the barricades were down, the police were gone, and all the agitators seemed to have disappeared. Maybe we shouldn’t have gone up to the building, but we thought the police were letting us go and that it was okay. Most of the crowd calmly walked up the steps. There was no running, no force, and no violence. My sister and I didn’t go up the steps except to briefly pray with others at the bottom. Most people on the steps faced out toward us on the ground and continued to sing songs, chant USA! and waive their flags. We were not an angry mob. Most people did not try to open doors or enter the building.

Then I saw police in a line blocking the way up the steps on the right hand side, but strangely there were no police anywhere near the steps on the left. All of a sudden the door at the top of the left hand stairs was open. I did not see anyone force or brake it open. Two or three people just walked in the door. Where were the police? Again, it seemed like they were being let in.

Around 4pm we decided to leave. We walked back to the side that faced the mall and looked around before walking to the subway for the trip back to our hotel. I saw no violence, not anger, no hate, not guns, no vandalism or anyone trying to get into the building. I think there must have been at least

a million people there. All was peaceful.

A Different Protest

It wasn’t until we were eating at our hotel and watching the news that we had any clue that there was a “riot”, or a “mob” of Trump supporters “storming” or “seizing” the Capitol. I didn’t know we where all a bunch of “insurrectionists” attempting a “Coup” that President Trump “incited.” The main stream media, like it has for the past five years, was once again lying about President Trump and his supporters. When I got home, I decided to find out what really happened from others who were at the mall side of the Capitol.

Conservative Alex Jones shared in a video that he was at the President’s rally at the Whitehouse. He says that nothing the President said would have incited the break in at the Capitol. I have since read his whole speech and I agree. In fact Trump said to “peacefully and patriotically” march to the Capitol He wanted the crowd to encourage any weak-kneed Republicans to do the right thing by investigating potential fraud. There is nothing unconstitutional about that!

When the speech was over, Alex led the way to the Capitol. In the video, he too says several times to walk to the Capitol and continue to peacefully protest. After he got there, he was told that the building was already breached. So how could the President’s speech be blamed when most of the people who heard him were not even at the Capitol when the break in occurred?

In a video by an army veteran named Dustin, he says he was standing at the Washington Monument listening to the President when suddenly these men came and stood in front of Dustin’s friend. He just knew they weren’t true Trump supporters even though they had on MAGA hats, etc. They were Antifa. He decided to walk to the Capitol before the President finished and ended up at the west side facing the mall. There were forty police in riot gear behind the metal barricades.

He could tell they weren’t the A team that would normally be used to guard against a potential civil disturbance. He knew what an A team looked like because he was at a DC riot in 2013. This was more like a D team, he said. An A team would have lined up behind one another in two or three rows. This was a single line formation. A multiple line team is used so that if the first line is pushed back and is broken, the rows behind it can still keep the rioters from getting through.

He was standing in front of the police having a nice chat with one of them when he was violently shoved from behind. He knew it was Antifa. Since the police were only in a single line, Dustin was easily pushed into them, and both the police and a barricade went down. I think Sandra and I would have been in the same situation if we hadn’t moved out of the way before the shoving began where we were.

Soon all the police were gone and all the barricades were down. I think most of the crowd thought they were being let in and it was okay to go up the stairs and to the scaffolding for the inauguration. Dustin says that some people were starting to smash windows to gain entry. True Trump supporters were yelling “Antifa” and booing them. Dustin grabbed one and pulled him away from the window. I have seen several videos where Trump supporters are trying to stop Antifa from smashing windows, etc.

It Was A Setup

I think real Trump supporters were being set up either by the police and/or Antifa to make us look like an angry mob storming the Capitol. Footage from cell phones and news outlets like the Epoch Times show police actually opening barricades for some of the crowd. Another video shows a policeman waving people in. Another video shows that a door just opens from the inside out. It was not forced open. The crowd is allowed to go in and walk right passed smiling police who are hugging the walls to let them pass. They just walk into the Rotunda. But no statues were defaced or pulled down nor were any paintings damaged, like in the violence seen in riots last summer.

Instead, there are pictures of people taking photos of the paintings or selfies. One picture shows a protester taking a selfie with a smiling cop. What kind of a riot is this? Yes, some movies show crowds jostling with police and some furniture in a pile. But most Trump supporters utterly condemn all violence, vandalism, or looting. I believe that most if not all of the destruction at the Capitol was done by Antifa or other violent groups. The many Trump rallies I have gone to are always peaceful. I saw no guns here or at any other Trump rally. I have met some members of the Proud Boys, and they don’t even carry guns.

Michael Yon is a war correspondent who was at the Capitol. In an interview he explains how he knows that Antifa hijacked this peaceful Trump protest. He knows about Antifa tactics because he saw them at the Hong Kong protests which he covered last year. These were clearly Antifa special forces at the Capitol. He called them Agent Provocateur’s whose M.O. is to infiltrate an ongoing protest. They dress like the “enemy”, in this case Trump gear, and waive Trump flags. This is called a False Flag Operation. They change dress to make it difficult to identify them later. Hong Kong protestors used umbrellas to hide behind when changing clothes. He saw one Antifa member at the Capitol change clothes by using the cover of a Trump banner.

Antifa set up the barricades as ladders to help Trump protesters scale the walls. They encouraged people by saying “Come over here” and “Come over the wall.” He saw Antifa start to beat a policeman, and some Trump supporters try to stop it. He saw homemade shields and people wearing goggles and gas masks. This is what Antifa does when they are hijacking a protest. Trump Supporters did not have these things. Antifa was there to get people riled up and guide them into the building. Unfortunately some followed them. But Yon says that sometimes in our weakness as humans we follow the herd or the person with the bull horn. I am not justifying what they did, but sometimes we make mistakes. He did hear the Trump people say, however, to not break or steal anything inside.

Now we hear that the break in was planned. I’ve seen another cell phone video where a man confesses that he was paid to protest. A man named John Sullivan, who was in the Capitol and who is associated with a BLM and Antifa riot last year, has been arrested. Other Antifa have been identified.

They hijacked a peaceful rally where Trump supporters were trying to encourage our leaders to find out the truth about voter fraud. This so-called riot stopped the process. I don’t believe true Trump supporters would have knowingly wanted to do that. Over 99 percent of Trump supporters never went into the Capitol. Most of the very few who did were likely tricked into thinking it was okay to go because the police let them in. Of course if they did commit violence they should be held accountable. But several people who entered the Capitol told the Epoch times that they just wanted to talk to there Congressmen about the fraud.
